One of the hardest areas in the house to clean is the shower glass. Hard water and dried soapy stains are one of the most stubborn stains out there.
It’s quite simple really. It’s all about mixing water with vinegar. Make a half/half water and vinegar solution and put it in a spray bottle. Just spray and wipe. Use it on a daily basis, as part of your shower routine.
Here are a few tips to help you clean your entire shower cabin:
First step, getting everything out: your shampoo, your body lotion, shower gel, soap everything.
Before using any kind of cleaning solution, make sure you rinse the entire shower area with hot water to start breaking down those deposits.
Put your rubber gloves on and mix these together: 1 cup of vinegar, 1/2 cup baking soda, 1 cup ammonia, and a gallon and a half of hot water. Use an abrasive sponge and start rubbing.
To get out the water spots, as already reminded, mix equal parts of water and vinegar, which is great for the shower glass, as well as for the knobs.
Get a toothbrush and scrub the shower tiles, using the vinegar, baking soda, ammonia and hot water mix reminded above.
Get the shower head off and put in a bowl filled only with vinegar. If it looks bag, let it soak over night to make sure everything comes off.
Next step is to clean the drain. To do that, just pour in baking soda and white vinegar. Let it act for a few minuted and then rinse with hot water.
