Emergency Remedies for Pimples

Acne is the result of a combination of factors – excess sebum, dead cells excess and bacteria. Pimples occur when hair follicles (or “pores” as we call them) are “clogged” with a sort of plug composed of sebum and dead cells.

Thus appear comedones, whiteheads and blackheads that are very unpleasant. The situation gets worse when bacteria occur and creates a small infection. The follicle swell, leading to redness and swelling of the area. And that’s how papules, pustules, nodules or cysts appear. Instead of spending money on chemical cosmetic try a healthy diet and these natural remedies to get rid of pimples:

Red Clay. Mix the clay with a small amount of water and oil of lavender. Apply the resulting paste to the affected areas overnight.

Mustard and honey. Mix 1/8 teaspoon mustard with 1 teaspoon of honey and apply it as a mask. Wait for 15 minutes, then wash with water.

Essential oils. Dilute a drop of lavender essential oil or tea tree and apply to the problem areas. These oils should be used sparingly as they may have negative effects if used in excess.

Yogurt and cucumber. Cucumbers contain ascorbic acid, which is very effective for skin irritations and inflammation. Moreover, cucumbers contain 95% water and intensely hydrates the skin. Yogurt and cucumber can create an antifungal and antibacterial mask very effective on treating scars, acne and blemishes on the face.

Garlic. Garlic it’s a very strong natural antibiotic. Simply dab affected areas with a little garlic juice and let it action overnight.

Egg white. Apply an egg white to the affected areas and wait about 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water. For better results, the egg white can be mixed with lemon juice / garlic and honey.
